It started with one espresso machine and a borrowed room
Cafe Codex began as a weekend pop-up in a friend's studio. We had a second-hand machine, a stack of records and a belief that great coffee should feel personal. A decade later, the room is bigger, the roaster is louder, but the feeling hasn't changed.
We buy directly from small farms, roast in the back, and bake everything before the doors open. No syrups we can't pronounce, no rush, no fuss — just honest food and drink made by people who genuinely care.
